Skills & Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Active state licensure where residing and where performing tele-therapy services
At least 2 years experience in a school setting
Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Computer and technical skills
Reliable Wi-Fi/Internet Access, including a computer with a webcam
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders for school-age children.
Provide virtual speech therapy services to clients to improve communication skills including articulation, fluency, voice, language, and pragmatics.
Writing and monitoring IEP’s.
Collaborate with school teams and attend IEP meetings.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and administrative paperwork in compliance with school district policies and state regulations.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice.
